Pentair Pentek EPM Series Cartridges are a modified version of the company's EP Series Cartridge. These cartridges offer an economical price, making them suitable for reducing taste, odor, and chlorine taste & odor, as well as for sediment filtration. EPM Series Cartridges are manufactured using a process that yields a cartridge with a nominal 10 filtration rating, high porosity, and chlorine taste & odor reduction capabilities.

The high porosity design of these cartridges helps prevent plugging before the adsorption capability is exhausted, maximizing the utilization of the carbon while maintaining a low pressure drop. These cartridges are also protected by an outer wrap designed to significantly increase their useful life by trapping sediment that typically plugs carbon block cartridges.

This makes the EPM Series Cartridges an ECONOMICAL SOLUTION for those seeking chlorine, taste, and odor reduction, as well as sediment filtration. These cartridges are designed to fit all 20" Big Blue Housings and other 20" heavy-duty housings, and they can replace any 20" x 4.5" carbon water filter cartridge.

The HIGH POROSITY DESIGN of these cartridges helps prevent plugging, maximizing the utilization of the carbon while maintaining a low pressure drop. The cartridges have been NSF INTERNATIONAL tested and certified, providing peace of mind for users.

Each EPM Series Cartridge has a 30,000 GALLON CAPACITY and should be replaced every 6 months or when a drop in water pressure or water quality is noticed.
